IIn one bin place:

  • PLASTIC CONTAINERS- No. 1 through 7 containers only: DISCARD lids. Recycle food and beverage bottles, cleaning products, shampoos, bleaches, clear, cloudy or clear OK. No pesticide, motor oil, medicine, automotive fluid or hazardous chemical bottles. Please rinse. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER dispose of needles or "sharps" products with your recyclables.
  • GLASS- green, brown and clear glass bottles and jars. DISCARD lids. Labels are OK. Please rinse.
  • ALUMINUM CANS, ALUMINUM FOIL, PIE PLATES, & TRAYS
  • STEEL CANS- all aluminum and other metal cans. DISCARD lids; labels are OK. Please rinse.
  • AEROSOL CANS- No Household Hazardous Waste
  • ASEPTIC PACKAGING- Juice & Milk Cartons

In the other bin place:

  • NEWSPAPER- loose newspapers and inserts
  • PHONE BOOKS
  • ENVELOPES/JUNK MAIL
  • OFFICE PAPER
  • SHREDDED PAPER- Place in Clear Plastic Bag
  • CATALOGS/MAGAZINES
  • BROWN PAPER BAGS
  • OTHER PAPER PRODUCTS- Cereal/Food Boxes, Pizza Boxes, Soda & Beer Boxes
  • CORRUGATED CARDBOARD- Flattened (No Larger than 2’x3’)

Blue Bins Overflowing?
You may place overflow in any open-top container (no bags) next to your blue bins for recycling collection. Items will be sorted and the container will be left on the curb.

Reminders:

  • Rinse recyclables
  • Discard lids
  • Don't bag or tie recyclables
  • No Plastic Bags or Wrap
  • Set recyclables out at the curb by 6:30 a.m.
  • If plastic container doesn't have a No. 1 through 7, it will not be accepted and left in your bin.
